New approach of DMSZ to certify ISO / TS 16949:
DMSZ also certifies ISO / TS 16949:2009 without taking IATF (International Automotiv Task Force) rules into account and thus without the accreditation by IATF but DMSZ certifies according to world-renowned ISO 9001 standard by IAF (International Accreditation Forum Inc.) in order to make a certification according to ISO / TS much more sapid to our customers.
The certification according to the ISO 9001 remains unchanged.
The full contents of the ISO / TS 16949 from these audits are audited by qualified and experienced DMSZ auditors, which all are descended from the automotive industry.
After a successful audit the customers receives an ISO 9001 certificate issued by DMSZ.Additionally DMSZ issues a self-made certificate according to ISO / TS 16949, which does not contain an IATF logo thus not respecting IATF rules.
Of course DMSZ can in addition to these standards certify other standards by IAF for example EN ISO 14001.
Two features are worth mentioning:
- An appropriate time slice for the certification according to ISO/TS 16949 will be added to the regular EN ISO 9001 audit expense required by IAF. It has revealed that expense of a combicertification according to EN ISO 9001 and ISO/TS 16949 is smaller than the regular expense of an ISO/TS 16949 postulated by IATF. We hereby forcing a tightrope walks between quality requirements of the ISO / TS 16949 regulations on the one side and consideration for the customers to be certified on the other side.
- Furthermore it is ensured by the DMSZ that automotive audits will be driven by well qualified and experienced automotive auditors in order to assure sophisticated audits.Qualified means that these auditors have gained extensive experience in quality assurance within the automotive industry and that they have the regular qualifications for auditing automotive standards (VDA 6.x or TS 16949).
The advantage for the customer
Large cost savings, since the audit effort can be significantly reduced by maintaining a matrix certification as practiced in DIN EN ISO 9001 certifications for 25 years.
- No auditor change specified by a third organization.
- More flexibility in setting dates for monitoring and recertification audits.
- No forwarding of company information to third organizations.
- No systematically planned participation of additional persons to audit, that no witness audits.
- Managementsystem durch DMSZ-Audits, weiterentwickelt und verbessert. Evidence of compliance to all ISO / TS 16949 requirements and effective management by DMSZ audits, developed and improved.
Or according to our principle:
